Philips Sonicare HX6211/30 2 Series

Philips Sonicare HX6211 30 2

I remember when I first used an electric tooth brush. I was at Walmart strolling around and saw they had a Oral-B 3D on sale for $8. I was like yes! So I bought it and when I used it I was a little disappointed. The vibrations were weak and at times I was wondering if the toothbrush was actually doing any cleaning. The battery needed to be constantly replaced so the toothbrush functioned at its optimal. I’ll admit my teeth did feel clean compared to manual brushing. Years later I stumbled across the Philips Sonicare HX6211/30 2 Series. It had good reviews and many features so I decided to buy it. My mind was blown! Let me tell you why you should switch over.

Imagine driving a Toyota Tercel to work everyday. It’s a car that does its job by taking you from point A to point B. Now imagine you get a promotion to an analyst position and you decide to buy yourself an Audi A7. You noticed that driving to work is different. The drive to work feels smooth. The turbo engine also adds power and confidence to the drive. Driving to work is no longer tedious but fun. Switching to the Philips Sonicare is felt almost as similar!

The Sonicare vibration was more uniformed, smooth, and stronger compared to the Oral-B 3D. It finally feels as if my electric toothbrush is finally cleaning my teeth. My teeth felt polished, smooth, and clean after using the Sonicare. After a week I noticed my teeth was even whiter! Something I was not expecting. What’s also nice is that it’s rechargeable and does not use disposable batteries. It’ll alert you when the toothbrush needs recharging. So why not switch?

Upgrade A Netgear AC1450 Router to AC1750 (R6300V2)

I recently bought a refurbished AC1450 router. I heard these router were identical to the AC1750 it is just that they use different firmware. A lot of these were refurbished because of the crippled firmware. What most people do is flash the AC1450 with DD-WRT or the AC1750 R6300v2 firmware. What I did was just flashed it with DD-WRT since it was easier and you get DD-WRT of course.

Here’s the directions I followed that worked for me that I got from a slickdeal post. Please flash at your own discretion because I do not provide any warranties 😀 :

  1. Do a router reset.
  2. Flash the router with this DD-WRT firmware made by Kong: Link
  3. Do a router reset again.
  4. Flashed it with this firmware: Link
  5. Do a final router reset.

So far the router is really stable and functioning fine. Great range and speed too!

Logitech Z906 and Wall Mounts

I remember one time my cousin bought Logitech Z5500 speakers from eBay. I was blown away by the sound quality. So when Black Friday came and I saw the Z906 on sale. I went ahead and bought it! To my surprise the Logitech Z906 did not come with any stands to mount to the wall. Luckily has a set of 5 wall mounts called VideoSecu 5 Black Deluxe Speaker Mount Brackets for Walls and Ceilings 1XZ” for a reasonable price.

The Almighty Logitech Z906

The mounts come in a package of 5.

Each comes individually packaged like this. The wall mounts are made from really sturdy plastic.

It comes with all the screws and mounts you would need.

Here is what it looks like mounted on the wall. Some might think the speakers come out too much but you always have the option of shortening it by removing the center piece.

Overall I love the Z906 speakers, clear and crisp sounds. The VideoSecu wall mounts were great too. They feel really sturdy, came with everything I needed and did its job.
